EHI Export

The Antrim Laboratory Data Management System allows authorized users to export Electronic Health Information (EHI) in a machine-readable format for individual patients or a client population.


Single Patient Export

  1. Navigate to the ‘Reporting’ Module.
  2. Select ‘EHI Export’.
  3. Select ‘Patient’.
  4. Enter the patient’s EMPI (Enterprise Master Patient Identifier).
  5. Once the extract is completed, the files will be automatically transferred to a shared directory.

Client Population Export

  1. Navigate to the ‘Reporting’ Module.
  2. Select ‘EHI Export’.
  3. Select ‘Client’.
  4. Enter the Client Mnemonic that uniquely identifies the account.
  5. Once the extract is completed, the files will be automatically transferred to a shared directory.

Technical Specifications

The exported EHI will be stored in HL7 V2 format, which is an established interface standard for Healthcare applications. Additional information on the specifications can be found on the HL7 International website.
