Q: Why is DLS and HPL changing the web access log on?
A: We are upgrading to a new and improved system that will better assist you in viewing lab reports.

Q: How do I access web results?
A: Navigate to https://dls.elaborders.com and input your username and password.

Q: What do I need to access web results?
A: Windows based PC or laptop (Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP) running internet Explorer version 6 or higher or Mozilla Firefox version 4 or higher.
Mac OSX based Apple computer running Safari 5.0.5 or higher.
*Google Chrome is not supported by vendor.

Q: What is a trusted site?
A: Adding https://dls.elaborders.com to your trusted sites list tells your computer that our web results site is friendly and not malicious; this ensures your computer will not block content that is needed to properly run our site.

Q: Why do I need to adjust Pop-up Blocker?
A: Pop-up Blocker needs to be adjusted to properly display the log-in screen.

Q: What is the ActiveX Meadco ScriptX Print Control and how do I install it?
A: The ActiveX MeadCo ScriptX Print Control is required to properly view and print our lab reports.

*The ActiveX Control is only required for Internet Explorer Browsers.

Q: Why can’t I save the lab report?
A: The lab report is no longer an Adobe pdf. The new website will generate a html version of the lab report that can be printed or viewed on screen only.
*This does not apply to HPL results. HPL results will maintain the Adobe pdf format.

Q: How often will my password expire?
A: Passwords expire every 6 months.

Q: Who do I call if I have any problems?
A: You may call your marketing rep or 589-5100 x0.

Q: How do I create a log-on link to my desktop?
A: Right click on your desktop in a blank space. Scroll down to “New” then click on “Shortcut”. In the box enter https://dls.elaborders.com then click “Next >”. Type “DLS Web Results” in the name box, then click “Finish”. A new shortcut icon should appear on your desktop named “DLS Web Results”.

Q: Why do I only see a blue screen when I click on the “Web Results” link on https://dlslab.com?
A: The Log-in screen is a pop-up window, if the pop-up blocker is not properly adjusted, Internet Explorer could be blocking the log-in screen.
